MEDICAL TEAM FOR SPECIAL CAMP AT PRAGATI MAIDAN   Date: 28 – 31 July 2008 Time: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Venue: Hall No. 12A, Pragati Maidan Sir Ganga Ram Hospital is deputing a team of doctors & para-medical staff for Special Camp for income tax payers at Pragati Maidan to be held from 28th to 31st July, 2008 (9 am to 5 pm) at Pragati Maidan (Hall No. 12A) to attend any emergency needs during this camp.

HAEMOGLOBIN ESTIMATION IN MCD PRIMARY SCHOOLS   Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, in coordination with Municipal Corporation of Delhi, has taken up Haemoglobin estimation in MCD Primary School (West Zone) under Anemia Control Programme of MCD, w.e.f. 10 July 2008.

SILVER JUBILEE RESEARCH AWARD CONFERRED TO DR. ANUPAM SACHDEVA   Dr. Anupam Sachdeva, Sr. Consultant and In-charge Paediatric Oncology & Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation was conferred the prestigious “Silver Jubilee Research Award Category 1” by the President of India on 1 July 2008.

FOGSI GIRL CHILD DAY   Date: 1 July 2008 Time: 6:30 am Venue: India Gate, New Delhi The Department of Obstetrics & Gyaenecology, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, which is also a part of the Federation of Obs & Gyn Societies of India (FOGSI). 1 July 2008 was celebrated as FOGSI Girl Child Day. Association of Obs & Gyn of Delhi (AOGD) held a silent march at India Gate, New Delhi on 1 July 2008 at 6:30 am to mark this day. About 250 volunteers participated in this march & highlighted the plight of the girl child and protested against female feticide. The members of the community participated in the silent march & made it a big success.
