Thalassaemia Clinic is being held at our hospital, with the idea of providing comprehensive care to every thalassaemia patient. Any thalassaemic whether attending the Preeti Tuli Thalassaemia Unit at or any other thalassaemia unit elsewhere in Delhi or rest of India can attend this clinic. A prior appointment is necessary. All the cases are checked by the doctors of Thalassaemia unit, paediatric endocrinologist, gastroenterologist, cardiologist, child psychologist and whenever required by the paediatric surgeon and geneticist. Every case is advised regarding current management of Thalassaemia and parents are counseled regarding preventive aspects of the disease. No consultation fee is charged in this clinic and all the investigations are carried out at concessional rates at par with general OPD.
